Jacques Callot, né à Nancy en 1592 et mort à Nancy le 24 mars 1635, est un dessinateur et graveur lorrain, dont l'œuvre la plus connue aujourd'hui est une série de dix-huit eaux-fortes intitulée Les Grandes Misères de la guerre , évoquant les ravages de la guerre de Trente Ans qui se déroulait alors en Europe.
