Shen Zhou ou Chen Tcheou ou Shēn Chou, surnom : Qinan, noms de pinceau : Shitian, Baishi Weng et Yutian Sheng. Né en 1427, originaire de Suzhou province du Jiangsu, mort en 1509. Peintre lettré de la dynastie des Ming célèbre pour ses paysages, ses peintures d'animaux et de fleurs qui reprennent le style de grands artistes Yuan et Song en les transposant dans des créations libres.
